Difficult times here at the Ladder this week, as a beleaguered Moholy-Nagy initially refused to concede his defeat in last week's voting. Happily, we ended up capable of escorting trespassers out of the Tournament.
Cast votes for up to four of this week's slate of seven artists by Saturday, November 14. For clarifications, consult the Ladder of Art FAQ.

Albers, Utrillo, and Snyders, because they're good, and Wood, because I want us to consider how fantastic that one George Washington painting of his is
I'll go with Utrillo, Wood, Ruysch, and Albers.
Utrillo, Ruysch, Long and Chase
Wow! That's an impressive ne 4-some. Will this be the week that Chase doesn't get my vote? Not quite yet. Outside if American Gothic, Grant doesn't do it for me. So I'll go Utrillo (this week and many more), Rachel "The Tulip Master" Ruysch, Snyders, and Chase.
Vote for Long, Snyders, and Chase.
Vote against Albers
Well, it only stands to reason that we'll like the artists better as we climb the Ladder, but this week is -- in my humble opinion -- a real shot in the arm after several fairly ho-hum weeks.
Let us begin with Grant Wood.
Also, Albers and Long. And Utrillo. Except, do I really like Utrillo better than Chase? No, I don't, he's just fresher.
I better go with Wood, Albers, and Long. I'd vote for all seven of 'em if I could.
Utrillo, Wood, Long, Chase.
Wood, Utrillo, Chase and Albers for me, please.
