The Ladder of Art -- Week #58

Cast your votes for up to four of these seven artists by Saturday, February 15.  For clarifications, consult the Ladder of Art FAQ.

It's another peculiar one!  Last week's results promote four artists onto this rung, instead of the usual three.  They run smack into Cozens, Holbein, and Canaletto, all coming off of a tie for First two weeks ago.  What's more, we've got all-conquering Daubigny, fresh off of what amounted to a three-week vacation.  And then we bring in enough new artists to get us up to seven?  No!!  We're already at eight!  That makes today's match particularly precarious: barring ties, a full half of the field will fall off the Ladder this week.

Last Week's Results
1. Chase: 8
2. Campin: 5
3. Gilman: 4
4. Boudin: 3
4. Delacroix: 3

6. Lancret: 2
6. Frink: 0

Delacroix, Boudin, Cozens, Canaletto. Honorable mention for Daubigny, who, as I understand, has been honorably mentioned a few times before.

I'll vote the "anti-Morgan ticket" of Holbein, Campin, Gilman, and against Cozens -- but I 100% agree about honorable mention for Daubigny.

Holbein, Boudin and Daubigny. And then a tough call between Gilman, Campin, and Delacroix. And I even like Cozens and Canaletto as well. What's decision making going to be like in ladder 158! I'll go Delacroix, although the romanticism rubs me a bit the wrong way, I can't help get swept into it.

Susan votes: Boudin, Cozens (I like him a lot, but I fear others don't), Canaletto & Daubigny.
