At the end of a bye-week in the main tournament, you are no doubt champing at the bit to see some fresh artists here in the Ladder. Unfortunately for you, there's only one new contestant in the mix, as a three-way tie for fourth place in last week's set means that there was only a single vacancy in this week's group. (The only artist who didn't survive last week was my favorite of the set, Patrick Heron, who plunged a record-setting eleven spots in the overall ranking. But I'm not bitter.) We rotate the images, of course, so you'll still see some first-time content! We've got a choir loft by Luca della Robbia in here, for instance, and a sweet portrait by Andrea del Sarto. See for yourself!

del Piombo, del Sarto, Gros.
Freud, del Sarto, Gros.
Wadsworth, Gros, Against Della Robbia, against del Piombo
Del Sarto, and I'll just stop there.
Well, it's hard not to like Andrea del Sarto's Portrait of That Guy from IT Who Dresses Funny. Plus Wadsworth, because he's grown on me a lot. And della Robbia, because that's some kinda choir loft. And I'll even give Freud the nod. Hey Freud! 'sup!?
For Gros and Wadsworth and del Sarto. Against Freud
Wadsworth, Piombo, de, Sarto, and Freud.
Gros, Freud, and van Leyden. Vote against Robbia.
Wadworth. And that's it.
Susan says "Della Robbia, Wadsworth, Gros, van Leyden."
And, hmm, votes close with a three-way tie for first among Andrea del Sarto, Gros, and Wadsworth. Freud, in fourth, will be our only artist to move forward into next week; the other three fall by the cruel wayside of the Art Tournament ladder!
