ReplyDeleteBoth of the artists' paintings feel very static to me. In Whistler's case, it's expected because his subjects are posed in static positions. In Wyeth's case, it's weird because his subjects are sometimes theoretically more dynamic. (But maybe that's just me.) Anyhow, I'm going for Whistler.
