The Infinite Art Tournament Left Bracket Third-Round Elimination: Rubens v. Spilliaert!

Spilliaert just beat Michael Sittow, who beat Rubens in Round Two back in April 2017.  So obviously he'll win this one too.  Or will he?

Sir Peter Paul Rubens
1577 - 1640
Flemish

Léon Spilliaert
1881 - 1946
Belgian

  1. I wasn't super into Spilliaert until I read the comments disparaging him from last round, and now I'm entirely in his corner and will vote for him.

  2. Tough call here. But I'll go with the first guy.

  4. I vote for Rubens. I really thought Spilliaert would be two-and-out, and I still scratch my head every time I see he's still around. But I'm glad you like him, those of you that do.

  5. I vote Spilliaert. I like him, but I mostly find myself voting against the whole art history of depicting naked women.
