This match has been brewing for a long time. Toulouse-Lautrec lost to Turner in the Second -- no shame in that -- and then stayed alive by finishing off Tintoretto, after he'd lost to Tissot, and then Titian, after he'd been ambushed by Tissot. But then Tissot also ran into Turner, and so, after a few additional plot twists, here we are.
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
1864 - 1901
French
- Crushed Jean-François de Troy in Round 1.
- Lost to J.M.W. Turner in Round 2.
- Beat Tintoretto in the Left Bracket Second Round.
- Beat Titian in Left Bracket Second Round Elimination.
- Beat Félix Vallotton in the Left Bracket Third Round.
James Tissot
1836 - 1902
French
- Beat Tintoretto in Round 1 by a two-vote swing. YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!!
- Put a big upset on Titian in Round 2.
- Lost big to J.M.W. Turner in Round 3.
- Beat Anders Zorn in the Left Bracket Third Round.

One vote apiece for these guys from the FB feed.
Toulouse-Lautrec is one of my favorite artists in the whole tournament. Him.
Toulouse-Lautrec
More from FB: Two for Tou-Lo, one for Tissot.
Susan votes for Toulous-Lautrec.
This one is a tricksy tricksy beast, because Toulouse-Lautrec is kind of my kind of thing, but I don't really like him all that well; whereas, Tissot isn't really my of thing, but I kind of like him. Know what I'm sayin'? Anyway, I guess I'll vote for Tissot.
Tissot.
Tissot's two late votes can't dig him out of a big hole, and the lesser-known name falls to the short Parisian dude, who brought eight votes against five.
