Leighton
If I'm to be honest, I'm not sure whether I like Sluter because of his sculpting ability, or if I just really like the look of old stone. Either way, I like Sluter better.
Sluter!
The FB feed yields two votes for Sluter, and two votes for Leighton.
Sluter's big piece is pretty amazing -- but what you don't realize is, it's pretty much all there is. Even one of the photos here is only, like, maybe Sluter, or Sluter and a pal. Whereas Leighton was perhaps a bit of a hack, but he's a hack with a pretty decent canvas trail. This tortured logic, and his exuberant use of orange, leads me to vote Leighton.

Enough with the languid ladies, Leighton! Sluter FTW!
Sluter
I'll go with Sluter, even if he's short on surviving work, because, well, I just think he's better.
Susan votes for Leighton.
Oh, and Jennifer voted for Leighton by email a while back, too.
OK, my friends, it appears that Leighton has returned to his tyin' ways with his pal Sluter here and will irredeemably hold up our little tournament with a tiebreaker... but happily, this resolves the little problem that's been festering up at the Miro/Masseys match. Let the tiebreaking begin!!!
