  1. Rubens. I like how in the first painting two of them are dead, and one of the dead ones is helping carry the other one.

  2. We've got Rebecca and Laurence for Rubens on FB, and Jen P. for Sodoma.

  3. Oh, the pathos in both! But Reubens has just a little more pathos.

  4. Ooh, it's an interesting one for me, as Sodoma is pretty great considering I'd never heard of him, and Reubens always disappoints just a little.... but I'm still going to vote for Reubens on balance.

  5. Wow. I think they're both fantastic. I'm surprised Sodoma isn't more well known. I'll vote for him.

  7. I don't always love Rubens, but wow, what a Pieta. That'll keep me in his corner for now at least.

  10. ...which makes it a final of Rubens 10, Sodoma 3. Rubens will have a bye week -- no, wait, he'll take on Spilliaert this Thursday. Sodoma returns to the pages of art history after a respectable 2-2 Tournament run.
