Bouguereau's one loss came at the hands of Kahlo, which would seem to give Homer the logical advantage in this match. ReplyDeleteBouguereau had a hell of a run, through the play-in Tournament and years of resistance from his adopted mother Chuckdaddy, and his survival to this point is a real testament to the power of his technical skill and heady mixture of sweet sentiment and mild soft-core pornography! Homer takes the match eight votes to four, however, and will therefore be the one taking on the "technical bravado," the "persistent appeal of Skagen imagery," and "frivolity of content" of Peter Severin Krøyer. Ought to be a heck of a match-up!
