  • Defeated Play-In Tournament artist Jean Baptiste Oudry in Round 2.
  • Tied with Michelangelo(!) in his first try at Round 3.

  5. Wow, that one went down to the wire! Metsu hung tough with Matisse, but came up one vote short: seven, to Matisse's eight. Matisse advances, but Metsu stays alive on the Left side, where he'll take on the winner of the Marc/Manet bout.
