Mariah Coe With sincere apologies to Vuillard (his use of color is beautiful), I'm going Warhol. Maybe it's from driving past an oversized autographed Tomato Soup can in Fort Collins almost daily (yep, Fort Collins - go figure) . . .
Vuillard doesn't do much for me. Warhol, on the other hand, took banal images from ordinary life and transformed them into somewhat larger banal images on canvas. Which is ridiculous. So, I'll vote for Vuillard.
Wow, the crowd turns ugly on Warhol! It's a big upset, as Vuillard (who?) tramples on the American icon, nine votes to four! Mr. Warhol will have to try to eke out a comeback in the left-hand brackets.
Voting in the Infinite Art Tournament? Awesome. And, please be aware that purely anonymous votes are not counted. You don't need to log in or use your real name, but you must identify yourself in some fashion for your vote to count.
