Vote for the two artists of your choice! Votes generally go in the comments, but have been known to arrive by email, by postcard, or in a sealed envelope.

Please note that you may vote only once in each face-off.  Opining that both of the artists in one of the two face-offs is superior to the other is fine, but casting your votes for two artists in the same face-off is not permissible.

  1. Uccello and Verrocchio, but my true preference is "both of the top over both of the bottom"

  2. Utrillo on the strength of that bandy-legged woman alone.

I was going to give this one to Veronese, but Verrocchio's talents in multimedia got him over the line.

  3. Susan goes for Uccello and Verrocchio.

  4. Oh, I'd pick the U's over the V's also, but will go with the Florentines Uccello and Verrocchio.

  5. Utrillo for me, because Uccello is important but stiff; and Verrocchio, because he's a double-threat.

  6. In the top contest: Uccello takes it by a vote, five of them to four of them.

In the bottom contest, you can still vote if you want to.

  7. OK, times up in the bottom contest too. It's another five-four squeaker, with Vorrochio on top. He'll try his luck against Utamaro in the next round.
