The Infinite Art Tournament, Round One: Stubbs v. Sutherland!

On the first Saturday of an odd-numbered month, you'd usually be entitled to a semi-final match.  But this time we'll just close out First Round First Week with, what else: a First Round match.  Please put your hands together for Stubbs v. Sutherland!

  1. Oh, but Stubbs was the best lion v. horse painter that ever lived! And that is very nearly enough, but I have to give it to Sutherland for his wide and likable range.

  3. Stubbs. I have to admit that I was leaning Stubbsward, and then when I saw the first Sutherland, I starting scrolling ahead to the bottom to vote without really looking at the other Sutherland (until I caught myself, and I did like the bee picture better, but I'm still going with Stubbs).
