I find Schiele's work very offputting; therefore, Schwitters.
ReplyDeleteI like them both, so this is tough. Schiele by a nose.
ReplyDeleteNot a huge fan of either. Schwitters.

ReplyDeleteI really like that top landscape by Schiele--I pretty much like anything he painted that doesn't have people in it--but really, I just can't dig his creepy people floating in space. Schwitters was such a pioneer, and a personal favorite. His work can seem either thrown-together or sublime, or some curious amalgam of the two. My heart takes a little leap if I see it on a museum wall. Definitely has my vote in this contest.
ReplyDeleteSchwitters for me
ReplyDeleteSchwitters, underwhelmingly.
ReplyDeleteI love the creepily awesome Egon.
ReplyDeleteSusan votes for Schiele.
ReplyDeleteSchwitters
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of a combo of Elder Moore and Mrs.5000 on this one.
ReplyDeleteSchiele, absolutely
ReplyDeleteSchwitters hangs on to take this contest, seven votes against five. He'll proceed to the Fourth Round; Schiele will try again in the Left Brackets.
