The Infinite Art Tournament Left Bracket Second-Round Elimination: Reni v. Renoir!

Second-Round Elimination opponents usually have some shared history. This week, we've got two guys that have been beaten by Rembrandt but beaten Joshua Reynolds. Then, to get here, Guido Reni took out José de Ribera and Renoir beat Gerhard Richter. Starting now, they begin the battle to stay in the Tournament and take on the loser of the Opren/Rosa match.

Guido Reni
1575 - 1642
Italian

Pierre Auguste Renoir
1841 - 1919
French

  3. OK, look, Reni is clearly the superior painter here. But, Renoir made a lot of very attractive canvasses that have brought me happiness over the years. So I'm going to vote for him.

  4. I am climbing onto Renoir's side of the teeter-totter, as far back from the fulcrum as I can safely get.

  5. Reni but I won't be sad if Renoir wins.

  6. And we all land on the fulcrum of the teeter-totter, as Reni picks up the final vote to stifle Renoir's late comeback, landing us all in a beautiful, beautiful six-six tie! We shall proceed directly into some tiebreaking this week!
