It has been a while since we've seen Mabuse, who was kept in waiting for a year by a tie between Maillol and Lowry. Maillol has now fallen to Nash in the tiebreaker, giving us a disparate pair contending here for the right to take on Lotto in late September!

Mabuse.
Nash. I like Mabuse's textiles, but I'm realizing that I am developing/have developed a straight-up aversion to paintings of babies/cherubs.
Mabuse...the second one is funny.
My only complaint against Mabuse is that he gets carried away with architectural ornament. Perhaps the artist in the second painting is caught in the act of editing out the cherubs? In any case, he's any easy vote for me over Nash.
Nash
Mabuse
I'm gonna vote for Mabuse over almost everybody, and almost anybody over Nash.
Mabuse.
Susan votes for Nash.
Mabuse wins over Nash, six votes to three, so he's the one who moves on to the Third Round!
