I have a weird nostalgia thing for Rosenquist. But sometimes there is a fine line between nostalgia and "what was I thinking?". Still, although I feel I shouldn't, I'll say Rosenquist anyway.
Rosa breaks away from a 3-3 tie with four consecutive final votes, and will move on to Round Three against not Mondrian, Rodchenko, or Rodin, but the guy nobody has heard of: Orpen. It's quite a Tournament!
Voting in the Infinite Art Tournament? Awesome. And, please be aware that purely anonymous votes are not counted. You don't need to log in or use your real name, but you must identify yourself in some fashion for your vote to count.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I remember looking up Rosenquist, and deciding the bottom triptych was as good as he got. The brooding Salvator Rosa for me.

ReplyDeleteAm I voting for Rosa, or voting against the 1980s? It amounts to the same thing.
