I like the second Rousseau, but do I like the painting or do I like the village? I like the second Rubens, but do I like the painting or the attractive woman? I think I'm going to fall on the side of Rubens on this one.
So that doubles Rousseau's vote, while only increasing Rubens' by 43% -- and yet Rubens prevails, by a final vote of ten to two. Thanks to all the voters and especially those called in by special request!

ReplyDeleteRubens portraits yes, even if Rubens in general is eh.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Maddy and three other voters I asked in to make quorum:
ReplyDeleteRebecca: Duh, Rubens. Statesman, spy... something of an art career on the side... interested in painting more than a bunch of brown trees...
G: Rubens
Ann: Rousseau, hands down.
