Man, what a weak part of the bracket. Relatively, of course, I'm not claiming either is *bad*.

Pollock. I would probably choose the other guy if I hadn't seen a bunch of Pollock's works in person.
I know Pollock is an influential icon in the abstract movement, but I'd prefer looking at Polke's works.

I'm pretty surprised by the luke-warm reception Pollock has received so far. I think he's pretty great, and he's had some pretty weak competition.
