The Infinite Art Tournament, Round One: Leighton v. Modersohn-Becker!

It's First Round First Week in the Infinite Art Tournament.  As things get back to normal after the holidays and we all catch up on our household chores and deferred voting, we'll feature a week of nothing but First Round matches.  It will help with the timing and such.

Frederic Leighton

British

Tied with Fernand Léger in his first try at Round One.

-----
Paula Modersohn-Becker
1876 - 1907

  1. I'm going to go with Modersohn-Becker on the strength of the still life only.

  4. Ooh, it's a TIE! Leighton and M-B lock up at five votes apiece. That will cause some crazy doings down the road, and we'll see them again as they reenter the tournament later in the year.

Voting in the Infinite Art Tournament? Awesome. And, please be aware that purely anonymous votes are not counted. You don't need to log in or use your real name, but you must identify yourself in some fashion for your vote to count.
