There's been a tie in the proceedings -- Orpen and van Ostade racked up six votes apiece. In a First Round tie, as serious Tourney watchers know, the artists are tossed back into the pool, and will try another First Round match against a different opponent a season or two in the future.
The match is also removed from the bracket, and subsequent matches get bumped around a little bit to fill the gap. That means that Auguste Renoir, still several months from his debut, is thinking "Sweet! If there aren't any other changes, I'll be up against the winner of Ribera/Richter in Round 2, instead of Rembrandt!" We'll see. Meanwhile, Palma Vecchio faces an opponent he couldn't have expected: Pannini!
Palma Vecchio
1480ish - 1528
Venetian
Thumped on Johann Friedrich Overbeck in Round 1.
Giovanni Paolo Pannini
1692ish - 1765
Italian
Defeated Parmigianino easily in the Toasted Cheese Sandwich Bowl.

Hmm. Pannini.
Susan votes for Pannini.
I vote for Pannini, too.
Yeah, Pannini
Pannini.
I like Pannini.
OK, Pannini.
Pannini really went to town on Palma Vecchio there, racking up ten votes to none. Palma Vecchio will have a chance to retrieve his ego in the Left Bracket, while Pannini moves on to Round Three.
