Lippi, but both are pleasant.
Tough one! I think I will say the Limbourgs. I imagine they look even better in real life too.
I just can't get over that old man picture. Lippi.
The Limbourg manuscripts are lovely, but in a decorative sort of way, whereas Filippino Lippi's work is not just lovely, but also expressive and observant and...well, you can see why the Renaissance was a big deal. Lippi.
Susan says Filippino Lippi.
I agree with everything that everyone has said here, and my vote is for Lippi.
Les Freres Limbourg.
I'm not sure if this will help.
Nora: I can't choose
Elliott: I like both of them a lot
Limbourg
Limbourgs!
Thanks to Alex, Sarah, and the kids for answering the quorum call. We've got a winner, as Lippi takes out the Limbourgs six votes to four. He'll take on something he could have only imagined as he fights to keep his epic Left Bracket winning streak alive... a photographer!
