  1. Nicholson. I like non-vertical lines sometimes.

  2. I think Ben Nicholson is fabulous. Stealthily so--his work is much stronger in person, and it's taken me years to begin to process just what I love about his spare, elegant, cubist-inspired branch of the modernist tree. It is a fine morning when I get to vote for him.

  3. I find this to be a curiously strong clash of minimalists. I like the bottom Newman and the top Nicholson a lot. Let's... geez. I don't know.

  4. I do not like Newman. Nicholson.

  5. Newman's clean lines are appealing more than Nicholson's blurrier, busier lines this morning.

  6. Nicholson takes the contests, seven to four over Newman. We'll see how he does against Georgia O'Keefe, starting tomorrow.
