Oldenburg! I still remember when some of the stuffier art types got all sniffy about the installation of the shuttlecocks on either side of the Nelson-Atkins, making the museum itself the badminton net. I think they're great!
And with all precincts reporting, or at least all the precincts that are gonna report reporting, Oldenburg has 8 votes to Orcagna's 2. And with that, this First Round match comes to a close.
Voting in the Infinite Art Tournament? Awesome. And, please be aware that purely anonymous votes are not counted. You don't need to log in or use your real name, but you must identify yourself in some fashion for your vote to count.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I can't stand myself for liking Oldenburg. But, oh well.
ReplyDeleteSusan says "Oldenburg. I don't like your examples, but I'm fond of 'The Knife Ship.'"

ReplyDeleteI like Oldenburg! I'll vote Orcagna though.
ReplyDeleteDrSchnell, I had come to think of you as more of a reactionary! I'll go with Oldenburg, despite reservations which hardly need be spelled out.
