At vote-counting time, there was a tie in the Left Brackets between Longhi and Lorenzo Monaco. That means that Taddeo Gaddi and Théodore Géricault, who tied up similarly about a year ago, can finally re-enter the fray. Here's the first of the two tiebreak matches!

Gaddi
Gaddi, with his glowing gold.
Longhi
Gaddi
Gaddi
Gaddi
Gaddi for sure.
Gaddi, despite Longhi's fine rhino.
Susan votes for Longhi -- "Venetian Rhinos Forever!"
And for me: Gaddi, despite the fine rhino.
Gaddi
As often happens to me, as I was scrolling through Gaddi, I kept thinking, "Nobody could possibly take it from Gaddi!" And then I hit Longhi and started thinking that I had spoken too soon. The rhino, sure, but the masks!
Still, there was a spark of life missing for me in Longhi, so I'm sticking with Gaddi.
And, it's Gaddi in a landslide! He takes the contest, 10 votes to 2. Say good-bye to the nice rhino, everybody....
