  2. What a trippy pairing!! I'm just imagining it's the first day of college, and I get to my dorm room, and find my roommate has plastered his side of the room with Moreau posters. That would be troubling. Whereas, Morandi posters? That would be weird, but potentially interesting. And based on that logic, I'm voting Morandi!

  3. Ack! I almost forgot to vote on a match up. I must remedy this situation immediately.

Michael, I like this way of deciding; it's much better than the on-my-wall test, or at least more ridiculous. And I agree with you that a Morandi poster hanger would make for a less concerning roommate. Although he might be kind of boring, and a Moreau poster hanger would certainly not be that. I think I would prefer to be friends with the Moreau poster hanger, but wouldn't want him in such close proximity on a regular basis.

I'm go to go with a more boring question to help direct me, whose career retrospective show would be better? Moreau clearly wins that contest. I can barely make it through a page of Morandi's google image search. And the details in many of Moreau's paintings are great, not exactly a comment you can say about Morandi.

    Moreau!

  4. Wow, nobody's gone with a Dr. Moreau joke yet? All right, I'll bat clean-up:

"It's a bit of an exaggeration to say that I love 'Dr.' Moreau, but I certainly prefer him."

(Note: I know this would work better if Wells had written "Isle," not "Island," but I'm going with it anyhow.)
