ReplyDeleteMemling's pretty awesome, but I've got to go with Matisse.
ReplyDeleteMatisse is also pretty awesome, but I'm going with Memling.
ReplyDeleteNot bad, Memling. Better luck next time. Gimme Matisse.

ReplyDeleteSusan votes for Matisse with a Matisse postcard. It almost seems likes that should count for extra.
ReplyDeleteMemling for me by a nose, for that Tolkeinesque landscape complete with curvature of the [Middle] Earth.

ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm feeling guilty about how often my vote goes to the older of the artists in any given matchup, but Matisse gets my vote today, despite the loveliness of his Shire.
ReplyDeleteMatisse runs away with this one, with nine votes to count against poor Memling's two. Matisse moves to the right, Memling hops over to the left. Thanks for your votes!
