Bierstadt!
Bierstadt!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, Bierstadt is much to be admired, but always from the same distance. Yes, I still love the swirly vortex painting. But all in all I'm really more the urban humanist--give me a thoughtfully framed annunciation scene and I'm all yours--so I'll land pretty hard on the side of Botticelli.
I'll take Botticelli's glowing people over the glowing landscapes.
Botticelli, yes indeedily.
Botticelli for Linda on the FB feed...
Oh, Botticelli for me.
Susan goes for Botticelli, by mail -- "HARD CHOICE"
Abstention - it might seem harsh but there are many artists I prefer to either of these that have already exited the competition...
Botticelli.
Beirstadt. Boticelli shall not be forgiven for what he did to our boy Boyd.
Bierstadt.
