Man Ray is awesome, but so is Timothy Ely. Ely by a hair.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll go with Man Ray here, but yeah, this is a tough match-up.
ReplyDeleteMan Ray, but I like 'em both.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the sentiments above. Man Ray, but barely (not a reference to the cello piece).
ReplyDeleteEly and his imaginary worlds.
ReplyDeleteMan Ray
ReplyDeleteEly!
ReplyDelete#2 for the nudity.
ReplyDeleteMan Ray is one of those famous, pioneering 20th Century artists whose work strikes me as under-baked. I am definitely in Ely's corner for this one! I would like any of these pieces on the walls of a museum, but holding one of his books and turning the pages is just sublime.
ReplyDeleteBy email, Susan votes for Ely.
ReplyDeleteOn Facebook, Linda says Man Ray and Mariah says Ely.
OH GOSH ELY YES!
ReplyDeleteYea, Man Ray is "important" and "influential" and all, and I kinda like some of his stuff. But those books, man. Ely please.
ReplyDeleteI'm with gl. on this one.
ReplyDeleteMan Ray is jazzy, but I'll go with Ely.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's OH GOSH ELY YES! in a shocker over Man Ray, ten votes against six! It's another victory for the Play-In artists, who are now 20-3 in the main tournament!
