VIII: The Gift
The Christmas Cad gave me a new necklace!
It was very romantic. He picked me up in his fancy new car, we had dinner at the best restaurant in town, and then he gave me the necklace.
When I asked him about how much money he's been spending lately, he told me that the ballet company gave him a big raise.
I feel kind of stupid, because I honestly didn't even realize he was getting paid for his ballet work! But now I understand why he quit his job at the hardware store last month.
I'm so proud of my Christmas Cad!
