  2. Mabuse. I love the artist with the orange robe and the open-toed shoes with his rainbow-winged angelic muse, dig the detail in the friezes, and like the portrait of the good-looking gent in the second work, though I am a little worried about his arthritis.

  3. Can I vote for both of the first paintings over both of the second?

    If not, Mabuse.

  4. Mmm, I'll go with Mabuse, AKA Gossaert, first of the M's and last of the G's.

  5. I feel like this is kind of our last low-profile matchup for a while before the heavy-hitting 'm's show up. Oh my vote... Mabuse

  10. Luini can't keep up with Mabuse -- who seems to be increasingly tagged with his birth name, Jan Gossaert, these days. The second guy takes it, 9 votes to 3!

    Thanks for your votes.
