The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Third Round: Canova v. Carpaccio!

It has been more than a year since we've seen either of these Italian fellows, but they've been cleared back into action by the resolution of a tie they weren't directly involved in.  Canova is one of the few artists who have lost their first match but won everything afterwards to keep alive in the left bracket.  Can he keep his streak alive against Carpaccio?  It depends, in part, on what you have to say about the matter.
