  2. Yeah, I can't really explain why, but I love Hodler. And Goya, eh, I guess he's pretty good, but I'm not sure why he's a household name. A strong vote for Hodler.

  5. Definitely Goya. I keep waiting for The Third of May to show up, but it looks like he may not stick around that long. For me, it was his amazing range that made him great. He was a court painter and one of the great pioneers of nightmares: you notice a slight smearing in the faces of royalty and goblins, and feel one could so easily melt into the other.

  6. I like Hodler, but I can't really push him up over Goya. Goya!

  7. Here's a emailed vote: "This is such a hard choice. But Hodler."

  8. The beard almost brought Hodler back, but it's Goya for me. (Back in to do my democratic duty after a long break).

  9. I was surprised by how much I liked Hodler, but I guess I'm a Goya gal.

  10. Holder, clearly. The whole time I was looking at the Goya's I was thinking "oh man, I hope I like the other guy so I don't have to vote for these."

  11. Goya fought back towards the end, but the Green Mountain voters did him in with a final 1-2 punch. Hodler moves on to Round Three, and Goya limps into the Left Brackets with an odd 1-1-2 record and hopes for a big comeback.
