Dufy you can find in reality.
Hopper you have to bring forth.

Rules issue! If you are the anonymous person who thinks that "Dufy you can find in reality, Hopper you have to bring forth," please note that you need to provide an identity for your vote to count.

Hopper. Not just because I like him more, but I'm still upset with Dufy for not letting Duchamp win.

I'm having a tough time with this one. It seems like it should be just "duh, Hopper," but then I'm wondering if it might be kind of easy to overrate him and underrate Dufy. I need more time to think! Fortunately, this is the IAT and there's plenty of time to think.

Here's a emailed vote for Hopper.

Dang, dude. I'm really vacillating on this one. On the one hand, bright colors! Joy! Exuberance! On the other hand, intriguing persectives. I guess today it's going to be Hopper for the IAT, though I'd be happy to hang a Dufy in my house if anybody wants to give me one.

Dufy. Any painting that makes me reach for my codebook.

And it's Hopper, but a two-vote swing! That's enough to give him the contest at 7-5.
