This is a toughie, but I'll go with Koolidge, who so ably carries on a genre pioneered by Caravaggio and Georges de La Tour, only--get this--with dogs.
Gotta go with Kinkaid, though I'm thinking that the biographical information has perhaps been April Fooled with (unless Walt Disney hopped in a time machine).

Poker playing dogs. Classic.
As moving as the first Kinkaid is, I also will vote for the dogs. But I have to admit, the rainbow detail almost swayed me.
The painter of light, of course. Such inspiration and originality!
Kinkaid for the win!

How can you vote against poker playing dogs? Um... Happy April Fool's Day!
Surely you're joking. Okay, fine, Coolidge. Who's in charge of spelling around here? And dating? And nationalitying?
Happy April, pfly!
