This is a tie for me. At first I was like "oh yeah, easy one, give me the squares every time," but then I was like, "hmm, well, wow, I don't know, those other not-squares are pretty awesome too."
Definitely Kiefer. One time, wandering around some museum in NYC we stumbled into a Kiefer special exhibit called "sunflowers". Lots of huge pictures, black ink on paper. We were most impressed. Seeing them on a computer screen pales in comparison to the real thing, but here's one anyway:
I'm not usually much of a Kelly fan, but with a combination of "oh yeah, easy one, give me the squares every time" and "favored for the ease with which I could interpret those paintings in quilt form," he wins my vote in this round.

Kiefer - neat stuff!
Kelly. Can't get into the colors on the other one.
Not nuts about either. I guess I'll go with the second guy.
I'm still waiting for the Dogs Playing Poker guy to get some love on this site . . .
Niece #4 votes for Ellsworth Kelly.
Kelly - favored for the ease with which I could interpret those paintings in quilt form.
I'll go for the stringy Kiefer over the blocky Kelly.

Kelly, and even with some enthusiasm!
We've got a vote-by-email here for Kiefer.
And Kiefer takes it on the strength of that last vote! 8 to 7 for the second guy!
