Bouguereau and naked ladies on the beach. Too bad about the first girl's foot, though.
I am a huge Bouguereau non fan. Something about his pictures are so creepy... And pointless. Just take a picture! So a strong vote for Becafumi.
Oh, and he was born in 1825.
"THIS GUY STINKS!!! I HATE HIM!!! AND YOU GOT HIS BIOGRAPHICAL DATA WRONG!!!
Never change, Chuckdaddy.
Bouguereau!
Oh, Beccafumi by a mile.

Love the Madonna's face in the second Beccafumi... ("I'm sorry, Madonna, you're such a big star...")
But Bouguereau did two things I don't think of myself as particularly a fan of -- soft-core pornography and sentimental scenes of childhood -- both very well. And in such a way that it doesn't even seem creepy. A favorite museum bookstore moment was buying a collection of Albers and one of Bouguereau in the same purchase. I haz range!
Bouguereau.
Bourguereau appears to be a "second half artist" -- after quite a bit of back and forth in the early voting, his support kicked in strong and he walked to a 10-3 victory.
