Beat Thomas Gainsborough and his Blue Boy in Round 2 Tiebreak.









Edgar Degas

French

Whupped it up on sculptor Richard Deacon in Round 1.
Stomped on Eugène Delacroix in Round 2.

    If I had to swing one way, after some deliberation, I would go Degas. Since I have to swing one way, Degas.

  5. Degas. Some years back I was blown away seeing some of his pastels at the Met in NYC. It'll take a lot for me to vote for someone else.

  7. With a 9-2 sweep, Degas glides easily into the semi-finals. Daumier will just have to see what he can do over yonder in the Left Bracket.
