The Infinite Art Tournament, Left Bracket Second Round TIEBREAK: Buren v. Van Dongen!

This is the other half of last week's Böcklin/Van Dyck tiebreaker.

  3. I'm kind of indifferent on this one, so I'll give the edge to the first guy because that room with all the mirrors reminds me of that scene in Bruce Lee's "The Last Dragon."

  4. I like Buren's cheerfully colorful installations, so he gets my vote.

    But I am putting the first Kees Van Dongen painting, "That is NOT an acceptable vase of flowers," on my list of works of art I wouldn't mind owning.

  8. Van Dongen's colorful women didn't have much of a chance in Buren's colorful hall of mirrors. Buren wins the tiebreaker 8-4, and will jump way down in the brackets to try his luck against artists whose names begin with "D."
