I have a feeling I wouldn't like Giulio half as much if you didn't have that picture of the room. But as it is, I'll vote for Giulio.

Ooh, toughie. I really like Gilman's flat planes of color and quiet scenes. He's like Hammershoi if the fog had lifted and the sun come out. But I do so want to go stand in that room by the virtuoso Giulio Romano that I'm going to vote for him.
A vote-by-mail for Giulio Romano.
Gilman for me. One of my favorite dark horse discoveries in this whole show!
Romano.
Gilman. Although Giulio is okay. I've noticed a change in my reaction to depictions of mothers and babes since becoming a mother myself. Now I am all like "put a diaper on that baby before you get pee all over your nice wool dress!"
Giulio Romano polls seven votes against four, and will stay alive to give his best shot against Giorgione. Giorgione, so far, has gone up against Giordano, Giotto, Giambologna, and now Giulio Romano. Is anyone else having trouble keeping this section of the brackets straight in their heads?
