Eh, Giotto.
A few critics have referred to Giacometti's success in depicting modern man's alienation. Yep, check, other artists can move on from that topic.
Although it is hard to vote against Giotto.

Giotto. Seeing Giaconmetti's stuff on one too many childhood field trips to the Albright Knox has left me cold on him.
I really like Giacometti, but I've gotta go with Giotto.
