The Infinite Art Tournament, Round 2 TIEBREAK: Daumier v. Gainsborough!

The Gainsborough v. Gauguin match ended in a tie, ushering in at long last a chance for Daumier and Jacques David a chance to jump back into the action.  Here's the first of the tiebreak matches.

Beat Dutch master Gerard David easily in Round 1.
Tied the Classical Revolutionary Jacques-Louis David in Round 2.








Thomas Gainsborough
1727 - 1788
English

    Daumier defeats Gainsborough with a fairly robust total of 7 votes to 3. That will move him forward to meet some guy named Degas in the Third Round; Gainsborough flops over to the Left Bracket where he'll be up against the winner of Deacon/Delaunay, and a whole region of the second page of the brackets lurches back into action!
