Abelardo Morell and Charles Demuth
Adolphe William Bourguereau, because you can't beat being naked by the ocean.
And Pieter Saendredam, for his little teeny people in giant architectural spaces.
I'll go with Adolf "Who Let The Dogs Out" Wolfli and Saendredam

Without hesitation, though, I'll go with Abelardo Morell and Pieter Saenredam (only one "d" in that).

OK, crap. This is an insanely strong slate. I'm going to go for Bourguereau, because I'm a sentimental fool, and Benton, because he's kind of like the Aaron Copland of painting. Love Wolfli, love Sandredam, love Morrell.
Morell and Bouguereau, with much love also going to Saenredam and even some trickle-down love to Benton.

And time quietly expires on Flight 2. It's a sort of upset, as #12 Bouguereau takes out #4 Morrell for a ticket to the big show! Meanwhile, the clunkiness of the format has yielded us with another three-way tie for second: Thomas Hart Benton, Charles DeMuth, and Pieter Saendredam wait in limbo to find out what happens next. Wolfli misses the cut, and the lowest seed, Alechinsky, is happy to have played, even if he didn't catch a vote.
