Hamilton is fun and all, and "Just what is it that makes today's homes so different, so appealing?" is famous and all, but I rather like the somber tones of Hammershoi.
My fastest flip flop yet. There's something so likable and fun about Hamilton that I'd like to see him advance a few rounds. But those Hammershoi pictures, and their haunting beauty, they really stick with you.
After a 2-2 start promised a tight match, Hamilton suffered setbacks on the way to a 1-10 defeat. He'll try to stay alive in the Left Bracket, while Hammershoi moves to the right.

Hammershoi, definitely. I like that these works are foggy and precise at the same time.
ReplyDeleteGimme some of that Hammershoi

ReplyDeleteHammershoi. I like Hamilton's collage (if that's what it is) but the flowers are boring. Both Hammershois are cool. I love mist.
ReplyDeleteA vote-by-mail for Hammershoi.
ReplyDeleteI'm personally going to go for Hammershoi and the foggy-and-precise-at-the-same-time ticket.
ReplyDeleteNot knowing anything about the artists sometimes means you can have a delightful surprise, which is how I feel about Hammershoi.
