Dubuffet made me frown, but at least that was a reaction; Dossi left me cold.
So it's Dubuffet for now.

Dubuffet!
I'm not a Dubuffet fan--and am kind of charmed by the peaceable whatsit on top of Dossi's stack. Plus it's fun to say Dosso Dossi. Dosso Dossi, grazie!
You know, I'm not feeling too hot about either of them. Let's go for the "things Morgan invariably likes in paintings" metrics:
CHALLENGE 1: Abstract overlapping polygons. Both artists are tied at 0.
CHALLENGE 2: Well-shaded skulls. Both artists still tied at 0.
CHALLENGE 3: Trees of any sort. Dossi wins! Dossi wins!
My vote is for Dossi. Numbers don't lie!
Call me old fashioned, but it's Dossi for me.
Rule of thumb, if I could do it, it's not art.
Dubuffet is another for whom I have a kind of nostalgia thanks to childhood field trips to the Albright Knox. Dubuffet.
I've seen a lot of Dubuffet in person in the last year, relatively speaking, and have been pretty much disappointed every time. So it's Dossi by default.
Vote-by-mail for Dossi
Dossi.
WHAT A THRILLER! Dubuffet stacked up a four-vote lead, but can't hang on in the late voting, falling in the end to Dossi by a score of 6-5. Numbers don't lie!
