Gonna have to say Giordano, after browsing...so much floaty...

I'm going with Giorgione's recorder player, especially because he also did a *naked* recorder player.

And you can never have too many recorder players.

Even if there is a boob in the 2nd guy's work, I will vote for first guy because there is an intensity and unsettling vibe that I like with his work.

Although I enjoy Giorgione's style much better, I can't find myself getting as excited about his paintings as I do with Giordano's. Hustle and bustle are beating out idyllic streams and recorders today!

Definitely Giorgione! I am especially fond of The Tempest. With all its unease and atmosphere and edgy social triangles, it seems way, way ahead of its time. It implicates the viewer! The perspective is convincing but also slightly, perfectly awry. And then the whole stormy landscape is so lovely to boot. Beats the heck out of that overwrought Giordano business. Even extra points to Giorgione for having died young--who knows what he might have done?

Giorgione, for essentially the same reasons as Elizabeth.

Gonna have to go Giordano here.

A very tight race, but it's Giorgione who comes out on top, 8-6!
