Although I tend not to be as much of a fan of portraits, I think Gainsborough has some great ones. Gaddi's okay, but I'm going to go with Gainsborough.
Hmm, some googling and I still couldn't decide. After a bit more Gainsborough won me over with his landscapes, like this one: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Seashore_with_Fishermen-1781-1782-Thomas_Gainsborough.jpg
Reporting an email vote: "This is a hard vote. I will go for Gainsborough, because I like taffeta dresses, but feel sure Gaddi will hang in there for awhile."
Ooh, toughie. I was all ready to vote for Gainsborough and the whole "people and their land" thing, but then I went back and looked at more Gaddi, and I'm going to go with him.

Gaddi. I'm a sucker for early Renaissance stuff.

I'm usually not a huge fan of Renaissance art, but I'm liking Gaddi enough for him to get my vote.
