  4. I'm not going to hold the fact that Eakins "crushed" my man Elsheimer in the first round against him. He probably couldn't help it. And I think he wins the battle of the boats here. (In fact, I really like the way these paintings match up: boat against boat, stage against stage, crowd against crowd. And I'd give all three rounds to Eakins.)
