I saw some great Archipenko in Los Angeles this winter.
ReplyDeleteBut, I am more and more impressed with Antonella da Messina. I admire how he mines additional planar and perspectival information for distance work, yet he also excels in capturing human features, which he starts off up in close proximity to.
