I like the second artist. Even if that's not a good-looking boob, it's still a boob. That last guy has a definite child molester vibe though. You know what, I'm changing my vote to the ambiguous blobs of color no talent whatsoever first guy. At least he didn't creep me out.
Despite one of the odder moments of gratuitous nudity ("Wouldn't she be cold?" I asked my wife), Freud gets a strong vote from me over Rorschach-I mean Frankenthaler.
Hmmm, toughie. In the pictures of Helen Frankenthaler pouring paint, she looks like just the nicest, most can-do woman of the twentieth century. Her paintings have a spirit of spontaneity and adventure, I think. I will vote for her because she makes me want to play with paint.
I'm with Ms. Frankenthaler, for making non-representational paintings that my brain tries to process as representational. Which feels a little different than a Rorschach response, where you see a randomness and then try to find something pictorial to it. With Frankenthaler, I don't see the randomness at first -- I think, "ooh, that's a vividly painted.... Hey, wait!"

Of course, you put two awesomes together for this tournament. I'd be a goon if I didn't stand up for Freud, though!

Hmm, I'm in a color fieldy day of mood, so Frankenthaler.
I don't usually go for the abstract ones, but the Freud is too Freudian for me, so it's Frankenthaler today.
Frankenthaler!!!

Freud, I guess. None of them do much for me.
Frankenthaler.

Frankenthaler makes it out of the First Round without too much trouble, 11-3. How will she hold up against Fragonard? We'll find out soon!
